BECKLEY, W. Va. -Beckley’s now-former city manager, Michael Resare, has resigned effective immediately. He was sworn in less than two months ago on December 6th.
This was after Monday’s Beckley Common Council Special Session meeting.
In executive session, Council reached a negotiated agreement with Resare and City Officials as part of his departure, including severance pay, and with both parties agreeing not to make any further negative comments about one another.
