Blake Lively reportedly referred to herself as a “ballbuster” and “flirty” in alleged texts to her co-star Justin Baldoni.

The Gossip Girl alum and Baldoni, who appeared together in It Ends With Us, became embroiled in a legal tussle after Blake initiated a lawsuit over Justin’s alleged behaviour.

The dispute escalated with a counterclaim from Justin, targeting both Blake and husband Ryan Reynolds for a whopping £321 million, accusing them of trying to “destroy” his reputation and career.

Recent developments include Blake and Ryan’s legal team filing an intent to dismiss Justin’s lawsuit, adhering to a court order from Judge Lewis Linman on the progression of the case.

Amidst this heated exchange, texts that Blake allegedly sent to Baldoni have come to light, including one where she described her personality during filming as “It’s my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth”. This text conversation is thought to be about a spicy scene in their movie, with Blake assertively describing herself as a ‘ballbuster’.

In another supposed chat, Justin downplayed any doubt about Blake looking less than “amazing” in their scenes, but Blake requested to push filming these scenes towards the latter part of production.

Baldoni’s team has gone further by creating a website to publicly display the purported interactions between him, Lively, and Reynolds, reports the Mirror.

The Mail reportedly obtained the texts, which are believed to form part of Justin’s legal team’s defence. The communication is said to have occurred between January 2019 and January 2024 and comprises 168 pages of emails, text messages and WhatsApp chats.

Most of the interaction is claimed to be between Justin and Blake, but there are also parts where he interacts with the Wrexham AFC owner. In one exchange, Ryan is alleged to have told Justin he “adores” him and seemingly confesses that he and his wife are “big fans”.

In another, Blake is reported to have called Justin “the best” while discussing a romantic scene in the film. Other texts include an alleged Valentine’s Day message in 2023 where Blake is said to have assured Justin he is “safe” with her.

The message reportedly reads: “You’re safe here’ and he responded with a heart emoji after it’s claimed he had suggested he should apologise for an “excited” comment. Days later, a purported response sees Blake, who has just given birth to son Olin, express her worry about her body for intimate scenes. She is reported to ask: “What’s the chance we can do body scenes at the end of the schedule?”

It’s claimed Justin said he couldn’t alter the schedule, but tried to comfort her by saying: “I want you to know you will look amazing. “Anything you are insecure about we will talk through and get creative together and make you comfortable.

“I just don’t want you to stress about your body. It’s the last thing you need.”

By May of the same year, Blake reportedly referred to herself as a ballbuster, explaining that it “means a lot to me”. Following a day of filming, she is believed to have texted him: “You were terrific. I’m proud of everything we did today, but really every day.”

It’s also alleged that Blake received a matcha machine for her birthday that year and, despite responding six days later, she expressed gratitude with no hint of strain. These revelations come in the wake of Blake accusing Justin of sexual harassment and a deliberate PR campaign to tarnish her reputation.

Subsequently, Justin sued Blake and her husband Ryan for £321 million, alleging they tried to “destroy” his reputation and career. Now, it’s reported that Blake and Ryan’s legal team have filed a notice indicating their intention to dismiss Justin’s lawsuit, in accordance with Judge Lewis Linman’s court order outlining the case proceedings.
