The festive season may be behind us, but it doesn’t mean we need to deprive ourselves of some winter fun and games. National Puzzle Day took place on January 29 – the optimum day for Scots to get their brains ticking.
According to Progress Lifeline, working on a puzzle reinforces connections between brain cells, improves mental speed and is an effective way to improve short-term memory.
Puzzles also increase the production of dopamine, a chemical that regulates mood, memory, and concentration.
With that in mind – pardon the pun – the gaming experts at Spin Genie UK have created a series of brainteasers to get people into the spirit. The challenge in this brainteaser is to find the six snowmen in red scarves.
A third (33 per cent) of Brits found the six snowmen in red scarves in under 10 seconds, which is highly impressive. However, over one in five (22 per cent) took over 20 seconds.
It’s not easy, but if you’ve had your coffee today, a good night’s sleep last night, or are just feeling particularly alert, you’re maybe up for the challenge. So, how fast can you find them?
