Katie Price recently returned from Turkey after going under the knife once again, but she is reportedly already planning more surgery in the coming months.
The former glamour model’s recent surgery saw her get her ears pinned back and a surgery that helps achieve a “fox eye” look, and has since been pictured with painful-looking bruises and bandages around her ears and face.
The mum-of-five has admitted that she wants to look “like a Bratz doll”.
Price’s figure has changed dramatically since she rose to fame as a Page 3 model in the 90s.
The star transformed her natural B cup breasts through increasingly extreme surgeries that eventually peaked in 2022 with 2120 CC implants – nearly three times larger than an E cup – in her quest for the “biggest boobs in Britain”.
But while the mum-of-five has previously championed a “no pain no gain” approach to dramatic surgeries, she admitted that this attitude has sometimes had unfortunate consequences.
However, now one expert has expressed his concern about Katie, saying he believes she has body dysmorphia, something that she has spoken about in the past.
Gerard Lambe is a spokesperson for industry body BAAPS and member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He leads the Reflect Clinic UK and is a trusted expert in safety in surgery.
He says: “These latest images of Katie Price having had yet another cosmetic surgery procedure send out a dangerous message to vulnerable people who may think cosmetic surgery is a low-risk procedure. These latest pictures show she has undergone a further nasal procedure, on top of “tweaks” to her sixth £10,000 facelift at a clinic in Turkey.
“I am gravely concerned for Katie as she is clearly showing signs of severe body dysmorphia – something any surgeon can spot quickly upon a consultation.
“No surgeon should be encouraging this and it is one of the most depressing aspects of surgery tourism we have in that the standards and protections we have in the UK are simply not respected at many overseas clinics. Money comes first and often at the expense of a patient’s mental and physical health.
“There is such a thing as surgery addiction – a compulsion to seek out cosmetic and surgical procedures. It is classified as a behavioral addiction that impacts a person’s health, mental well-being, and of course, finances.
“Tragically, people with body dysmorphic disorders are more likely to become addicted to plastic surgery — but there are resources available to help anyone recover and I urge anyone, including Katie, to please seek support.”
Katie has commented on her position on surgery in the past. Towards the end of last year, she shared plans for more surgery after her 17th breast enhancement. The mum of five admitted to Closer she may need therapy.
She explained: “I think I need therapy when it comes to surgery. I wouldn’t say I’ve got body dysmorphia, but there’s obviously an underlying something why I feel the need to get surgery, or why I look in the mirror and think, ‘I want to change that, or that’. What you’ve got to remember is that I’m four years away from being 50 so I’m entitled to [do] whatever I want to my face.”
Price admitted that her inability to see her natural beauty in younger photos is “mad”, explaining that she often resorted to plastic surgeries as a coping mechanism after her romantic relationships broke down.
She added: “That’s another thing I have to get to grasps with myself about the surgery thing. I don’t know if it’s body dysmorphia or what I’m trying to gain out of it.”
