Edinburgh Airport will soon be offering punters the chance to take a new easyJet route from the capital to Bordeaux.
The flights to the French city will be the only connection from a Scots airport and are due to kick off on June 26, with options to fly out on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the summer period.
All city breaks to Bordeaux from Edinburgh include flights and hotel, covered by the tour operator’s Ultimate Flexibility, offering passengers the freedom to change a booking, a refund guarantee, and best price guarantee, reports Edinburgh Live.
The historic city famous for its beautiful stone façades and fine wines attracts visitors with its famous food and culture scene.
Scots flying out to the city can visit the Cité du Vin to learn about the history of wine and how it is made, or the Bassins de Lumières, a unique art museum that uses light and sound to create immersive experiences.
After exploring the city’s museums, travellers can then head to the city’s historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and sample the city’s many culinary delights and its fine wines.
Seats are now on sale at easyJet.com and via the app from £45.99. easyJet holidays will also offer packages to the new route, starting from just £251 per person.
