Netflix’s latest series, Celebrity Bear Hunt, has just dropped and the show promises to be a thrilling watch.
The fresh series thrusts 12 British celebs into the Costa Rican wilderness, where survival guru Bear Grylls stalks them as his prey.
Fronted by Holly Willoughby, the star-studded line-up features Spice Girls legend Mel B, TV star Shirley Ballas and model Lottie Moss. Among the other famous faces is 31-year-old Londoner Leomie Anderson.
Audiences may recognise the model from her high-profile beauty campaigns, but what else has she made a name for herself in?

Born in Wandsworth, Leomie hails from Jamaican roots and entered the modelling world as a teen, reports Surrey Live.
Throughout her career, she has strutted her stuff for esteemed brands such as Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and Moschino. However, it was her time with Victoria’s Secret that led to a ground-breaking first.
The British model was selected for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2015, after her third attempt at the auditions. She graced the sought-after catwalk for four straight years before being bestowed with ‘wings.’ She officially became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2019.
Leomie made history as the first Black British model to become one of the brand’s ‘angels.’ Celebrating this landmark achievement on Instagram, the then 26 year old shared: “Mate I am still in shock. This is something I was even scared to dream about because I never thought it would come true but I am insanely excited to announce that I am Victoria’s Secret’s newest ANGEL!!
“I can’t even believe it. Thank you to God, My fusion family, Ed, Monica, John, Sophie, Michelle and everyone else who made this once far-fetched dream a reality,”

Leomie’s fame isn’t confined to the catwalk, the Celebrity Bear Hunt competitor is also known for her presenting skills. In 2023, she took over from former Love Island presenter Maya Jama on the BBC hit beauty series, Glow Up: Britain’s Next makeup Star.
The popular programme, often coined as ‘The Great British Bake-off for makeup’ because of its similar competitive style, sees makeup artists battle it out in weekly contests judged by industry experts Dominic Skinner and Val Garland.

Further cementing her status, Leomie has left her mark in the beauty world, too. She is associated with Rihanna’s successful Fenty Beauty line.
Back in 2017, as her star in the entertainment industry rose, she confirmed to Dazed magazine her friendship with the music icon answering if they were friends, she expressed candidly: “Yes we are.”
The model expressed gratitude and admiration for Rihanna, saying: “Me and Rihanna are friends, THANK YOU. She’s really really great and loyal and supportive. I’ve actually worked with her nearly every year for the past four of five years, whether it was her River Island collection or her Stance socks collection.”
“I walked for Fenty in Paris last season and now with the beauty campaign. She’s very loyal and if she likes you she will always support you in some way shape or form,” she elaborated on their professional relationship.
Celebrity Bear Hunt is now on Netflix.
