With spring training just days away, the Yankees officially invited 26 non-roster players to big league camp on Wednesday.

Some of the non-roster invitees, or NRIs, were previously known or expected. Veterans Carlos Carrasco, who inked a minor league deal with the Yankees earlier this week, and Dominic Smith are such examples.

A few top prospects, including Spencer Jones and Chase Hampton, expectedly received invites as well after attending their first big league camp last year. Meanwhile, fellow farmhands George Lombard Jr., Roderick Arias and Rafael Flores all received their first big league invites.

Lombard, a shortstop, is considered the Yankees’ second-best prospect, according to Baseball America. He only trails Jasson Domínguez, who is set to be the Yankees’ left fielder in 2025.

Arias, another shortstop, ranks third, while Flores, a JUCO product, is 10th. Jones, an outfielder coming off a strikeout-heavy campaign, ranks sixth, while Hampton is seventh. He could provide rotation depth this year following an injury-riddled 2024.

Cam Schlittler, ranked 14th, and Eric Reyzelman, ranked 29th, also received invites. The two righties posted big strikeouts numbers across multiple levels last year.

Other notable invitees include ex-Cubs top prospect Brennen Davis, backup catcher candidate Alex Jackson, the speedy Duke Ellis, and infielders Pablo Reyes and Andrew Velazquez. The full list of NRIs can be seen below.
