AUSTIN, Texas — A SWAT situation is currently underway in northeast Austin.
Austin police reported that a person had barricaded themselves just before 1:30 p.m. on Bartholdi Street, which is in a neighborhood near Dessau Road and East Parmer Lane.
Details around the standoff are unknown at this time, but police are asking the public to avoid the area since roadways may be blocked off.
Police are expected to provide an update later today.
