Katie Price has opened up about her heartbreak over wanting another child but insists she’ll be “fine” when her older children, Junior and Princess, eventually have babies of their own.
The former glamour model spoke about her fertility issues on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, with her younger sister Sophie.
Katie previously went through IVF treatment with her ex Carol Woods, which was documented on the Channel 4 programme, Katie Price: Making Babies. During the show she was seen having multiple hormone injections, blood tests, scans and a surgical operation to retrieve eggs.
Now the mum-of-five has admitted that with her sister and close friends welcoming babies recently, she’s managing her emotions. “Soph has a baby, two of my close friends have had babies, newborns. So I’ve got enough,” she shared.
Sophie responded: “You’re occupied.”
Katie then added: “And when Soph has another one, and one day Junior and Princess have kids, I’ll be fine.”
Katies shares her two children Junior, 19 and Princess, 17, with ex-husband Peter Andre. Junior is currently attempting to make a name for himself in the music industry, while Princess has landed several modelling jobs.
The reality star passionately reassured listeners that her journey to having another child isn’t over yet.
“But I still want kids and I’m not giving up,” She declared.
Katie then went on to list the various options still available to her, stating: “I can still carry a baby, I could still try my 1 per cent eggs, surrogacy, there’s lots of ways.”
Encouraging others facing the same fertility issues, she continued: “Anyone in my position, you don’t need to give up, there are ways.”
Katie had previously revealed she had three failed attempts of IVF, but is keen to continue with it and explore more opinions for a child with her current partner, Married At First Sight star, JJ Slater.
