PRINCETON, W.Va. – A Princeton man remains behind bars after a Feb. 1 domestic incident on Kee Street.
Brian Kelly Justice, 33, has been charged with domestic assault, first offense, and domestic battery, second offense.
According to the criminal complaint, Princeton Police Department officers were called to the residence at 10:10 a.m. after a woman called 911 and said her grandson had broken windows and pushed her and made threats to “kill everyone if the law was called.”
Cpt. E.D. Leftwich said that upon arrival at the residence the suspect attempted to flee through the rear window but retreated when he saw the officer. Another officer was already inside the residence and captured him.
The complaint also said Justice appeared to be under the influence of an impairing substance.
Justice is incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail under a $3,000 cash-only bond.
