The Jimmy Butler saga in Miami has come to an end.

After nearly two months of drama, Butler has been traded to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroeder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. The 35-year-old also reportedly agreed to a two-year, $121 million extension with his new team.

Butler requested a trade from the Heat around Christmas Day and finally was granted his wish.

The swingman is averaging 17 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 25 games this season.

The Warriors finally paired a fellow star with Steph Curry as they entered Wednesday night with a 25-24 record which is tied for the final Play-In spot in the Western Conference.

This is a developing story. Check back for details
