AC/DC fans were left fuming after a rush to secure Edinburgh AC/DC tickets left them disappointed. The legendary rockers announced a European tour earlier this week, which will conclude at Edinburgh Murrayfield on August 21.

The gig is the band’s only UK date and when tickets went live on the site this morning, dozens of fans said they’d been left gutted when they couldn’t get very far. Many called for the website to be “shut down” out of fury.

The sale went live this morning at 10am on Ticketmaster.

Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to rage, with one saying: “Would’ve been nice, but Ticketmaster has ruined any plans I had. Why do I need a verification code sent to a phone number I don’t have anymore just so I can *change my phone number* on the app? Like I just wanted to change my number for the hell of it.”

One said: “Here you are in line for AC DC at Ullevi. 22316 before at 10.00 When you got down to 4911 you were kicked out and had to start over with 23000 before. What the hell kind of f**king system do you have? You can shut down your f**king business because you never learn. Hell, sitting in a 30-minute queue and getting kicked out. Yes, I’m so pi**ed off. #Ticketmaster.”

“I don’t understand why people still bother with Ticketmaster. It’s the same thing every single time. You’d think for such a huge business they would sort out their f***ing website. It’s a joke and I’ve been let down too many times now,” one added.

Ticketmaster haven’t responded yet to fan complaints. Their most recent online post read: “TICKETS ON SALE NOW Rock’n’roll hall of famers AC/DC bring their POWER UP tour to Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on 21 August 2025.”

The multi-million-selling band, fronted by Scot Angus Young, are hitting the road this summer to continue their ‘POWER UP’ tour which will conclude at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on August, 21 2025.

The tour, named for their latest studio album, which reached #1 in 21 countries, has seen the band visit Europe last year to rapturous fans and critical acclaim, and it continues this spring with stadium shows in 13 cities across the USA.

The band formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia, and are one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide.
