A 6-year-old girl was found unconscious in a bathtub inside a Brooklyn apartment building, cops said Friday.
Police responding to a 911 call found the little girl unconscious and unresponsive in the tub inside a building at the corner of Elton St. and Ridgewood Ave. in East New York.
Medics transported the child to Brookdale Hospital, where she was declared dead at 2:52 p.m., according to police.
According to a police source, the death is considered suspicious.
The investigation is ongoing. An autopsy will be done to determine cause of death.
