NYPD are searching for a man in construction gear who strangled a woman inside a Bronx building and then fled.

A 51-year-old woman told police she was inside a Mott Haven building on E. 149th St. near Courtlandt Ave. around 5:20 p.m. on Jan. 23 when the attacker approached and strangled her until she went unconscious.

After the terrified victim regained consciousness, she discovered three of the buttons on her pants had been unfastened.

In a video and photo released by cops, the suspect is wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and brown work boots while carrying an orange vest with a reflective stripe and a yellow hard hat.
