The highly anticipated Phineas and Ferb revival is just around the corner, with the new series set to air on Disney Channel and Disney+ this summer.
The exciting news was announced on 6th February by co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh, who stated, “Since Phineas and Ferb is essentially a celebration of summer vacation, summer is the perfect time to debut the new season.”
They added, “We have had such a great time diving back into this world and the entire cast and crew have really brought their A-game. We cannot wait to see fans’ reactions to what is shaping up to be our favourite season yet.”
The revival, first announced in 2023, will consist of 40 episodes split into two seasons and will feature the return of original voice cast members, including Vincent Martella as Phineas, David Errigo Jr. as Ferb, Ashley Tisdale as Candace, and Caroline Rhea as Linda.
Other returning voice actors include Dee Bradley-Baker as Perry the Platypus and Alyson Stoner as Isabella, with Dan and Swampy reprising their roles as Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram. The original series premiered on Disney Channel in 2007 and ran for four seasons until 2015.

The series, Phineas and Ferb, follows the summer adventures of two stepbrothers who use each day of their holiday to embark on grand projects or thrilling escapades, reports the Express.
Creators Dan and Swampy drew inspiration from their own childhood summers and first conceived the characters in the 90s while working on popular shows like The Simpsons and Rocko’s Modern Life.
They spent 16 years pitching the series before it was finally picked up by The Walt Disney Company.

It quickly became one of Disney Channel’s most successful animated franchises, with critics lauding the show’s humour and writing.
In 2010, it even bagged a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in Animation, along with several Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.
Beyond the series, a television film titled Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension aired in 2011, followed by a sequel, Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe, which was released on Disney+ in 2020.
