Three men have been charged in connection with drugs and organised crime offences, following a series of police raids during which officers seized Class A drugs worth one million pounds.
Police Scotland confirmed that four people, three men and one woman, had been arrested following an organised crime operation in West Lothian on Thursday, February 6.
Officers executed warrants at locations including Fauldhouse, West Calder, Polbeth and Livingston, and recovered 21.5kg of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of £1,000,000 as well as £80,000 in cash.
The men, aged 29, 35 and 54, have now been charged and are expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, February 10. The woman, aged 54, was released pending further enquiries.
The activity was a part of an ongoing investigation, Operation Silhouette, and is led by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit to target and dismantle serious organised crime groups. Enquiries are still ongoing.
