The Masked Singer’s Davina McCall has been revealed as the unexpected celebrity crush of very famous Scottish singer.
Lewis Capaldi admitted he ‘loves’ the 57-year-old presenter, who is a part of the judging panel on the ITV show, during a 2022 interview.
The Someone You Loved singer confessed he regularly watches Davina on social media and is a fan of one particular Instagram segment she does called ‘Menopause Mondays’.
He told What’s On Scotland: “I love you, Davina McCall. Menopause Mondays – I am tuned in. It’s a segment she does on her Instagram, but yeah, tune in guys.”
The former Big Brother presenter, who hit menopause when she was 43-years-old, created a series on her social media platforms called ‘Menopause Mondays’ where she shares content to raise awareness about menopause and break down the taboos and shame that often surround it.
Davina has been very vocal about her menopause journey and revealed her first symptoms, over 14 years ago now, to be hot flushes and tiredness as well as mental fog.
The mum-of-three also runs her own fitness programme called Own Your Goals (OYG) where she regularly shares workouts and resources to help people navigate menopause.
However, she is also kept very busy with her role as a judge on The Masked Singer which is just days away from the ITV show’s semi-final.
The five remaining contestants on the show whose identities remain a mystery are Bush, Dressed Crab, Wolf, Pufferfish and Bear.
Last weekend’s show saw a double elimination with Kingfisher being unmasked as Sir Grayson Perry while Andrea Corr was later revealed to be Snail.
Dressed Crab, who is highly suspected to be American singer, Gregory Porter, is the favourite to win the ITV show, followed by Wolf, who fans are convinced is Scots Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow.
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday on ITV at 7pm.
