The Masked Singer fans were left gobsmacked on Saturday evening when two contestants left the series in a double unmasking with the surprise shaking up the odds on who may win the ITV show.

Both Snail and Kingfisher revealed their identities on February 1, with Kingfisher being unveiled as comedian and artist Sir Grayson Perry, while Snail was revealed to be Irish singer Andrea Corr.

Gambling.com’s Entertainment expert, James Leyfield has created markets on the popular show including the most likely winner and which stars are behind the masks of the remaining contestants.

Dressed Crab is the 5/4 favourite to win this year’s series of The Masked Singer with American singer Gregory Porter thought to be the famous face behind the mask.

One of the character’s clues was three umbrellas, which could be a nod to the band’s name.

Gregory Porter took a week off from being the favourite to be Crab but has now returned to over take Teddy Swims who is now Evens in second place after viewers reverted back to their Porter theories, including fashion and water clues.

The singer has a debut album called Water and the same surname as Billy Porter, who regularly pushes fashion boundaries.

Elsewhere Wolf follows very closely behind Dressed Crab at 6/4 to win and fans are absolutely convinced that Scots singer Marti Pellow, who is the frontman of Wet Wet Wet, is the man behind the animal’s identity with odds at 4/11.

Show detectives Maya Jama and Mo Gilligan are both convinced Example is under the Bear mask with his odds at 4/6.

Meanwhile, EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy remains 4/5 favourite to be Bush. However, there may be a huge twist on the cards because impressionist Morgana Robinson has entered the market as 5/4 second favourite.

Pufferfish is the 11/8 favourite to be unmasked next after landing in the bottom three last weekend.

Musical theatre performer Samantha Barks (8/11) was originally the leading suspect but other names have now been mentioned following a Coronation Street clue on Saturday night.

Kym (6/4), Jodie (15/8) and Lucy (5/2) are new entries into the Pufferfish market, but viewers keep coming back to Samantha, who has regained favouritism.

Expert James Leyfield believes that Bush is the most likely to be unmasked next after Pufferfish with odds at 13/8, followed by Bear at 2/1.

Meanwhile, Wolf and Dressed Crab are the most safe at 11/4 and 3/1.

The Masked Singer returns on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1.
