A man and woman have been arrested after drugs worth £150,000 were recovered from them on a street in Motherwell.
Officers acting on intelligence searched the pair on Muir Street and recovered cannabis with a street value in the region of £150,000 on Friday, February 7.
A 40-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with this recovery. They are due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 10.
Detective Superintendent Steven Elliott said: “We are determined to protect the public from harmful criminality by disrupting sale of illegal substances and preventing them from being circulated on the streets of our community.
