NEW ORLEANS — Super Bowl LIX will take place in New Orleans on Sunday, but many are wondering where the next handful of championships will be played.
It’s a tough process to pick which cities get to host the most watched television broadcast in the United States every year.
Matt Shapiro, vice president of events strategy for the NFL, told Axios there are many factors that go into it — weather, nearby hotels, stadium quality, fan and team interest and logistics.
The NFL has already set the dates and locations for the Super Bowl through 2028.
Future Super Bowl locations and dates
- Super Bowl LIX: Scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025 – Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, LA), home of the New Orleans Saints
