Two Louisiana natives will team up for the pregame performance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS — Louisiana natives Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle will join forces to perform “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl LIX, when the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The duo is part of a star-studded pregame lineup that will pay tribute to New Orleans’ legendary music scene on Super Bowl Sunday. Alongside Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle, the pregame entertainment will feature Jon Batiste performing the national anthem and Ledisi singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” all artists with deep roots in Louisiana.

Who is performing “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl 59?

Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle will perform “America the Beautiful” together at Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. 

Trombone Shorty is a Grammy Award-winning New Orleans musician known for his blend of funk, soul, R&B and rock. His long career includes five acclaimed albums, tours with major acts like Lenny Kravitz and the Foo Fighters, and performances at the Grammys and White House.

Lauren Daigle, a Louisiana native, has won multiple Grammy, American Music, and Billboard Music Awards. Her 2018 album “Look Up Child” was the first female album to top both Pop and Christian Album charts, and her hit single “You Say” is certified six-times Platinum.

Stephanie Nogueras, a deaf actor known for her roles in the television series “Switched at Birth” and “Killing It,” will perform the song in American Sign Language. 

When does the Super Bowl start?

The game will be broadcast live on FOX on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025.

The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time. Super Bowl 59 will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, marking the 11th time the big game is hosted by the city.

It is also the eighth time that the Superdome has hosted the Super Bowl, the most of any NFL stadium.
