Global superstar Taylor Swift has arrived at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, ready to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he takes to the field with the Kansas City Chiefs in the highly anticipated Super Bowl showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs are vying for their fourth Super Bowl victory in six years, and Travis, who made a fashion statement with his pre-game attire, is hoping to secure an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl crown.
Taylor, who was spotted watching the Chiefs’ victory alongside Ice Spice and Blake Lively last year, has sparked speculation that she may make a special appearance during the game, possibly even joining Kendrick Lamar on stage during the halftime show.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper, who collaborated with Taylor on the remix of her hit song “Bad Blood” in 2015, is set to provide the entertainment for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
As Taylor arrived at the stadium, she was seen wearing a stylish outfit consisting of white thigh-high boots and an oversized white blazer, complete with a small red bag as an accessory.
Her devoted fans, known as Swifties, were quick to take to social media to express their excitement, with one commenting, “A light suit? We triumphed,” and another adding, “A WHITE SUITE? ? WE WON.”
Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis, stirred up some controversy earlier this week with his comments about playing at the Super Bowl in front of US President Donald Trump.
Despite Trump’s previous declaration of “I hate Taylor Swift” following her endorsement of his political rival Kamala Harris last year, he is set to be the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl tonight. Travis expressed his excitement, saying, “That’s awesome, it’s a great honour,” when asked about Trump’s attendance, reports the Mirror.
“No matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life. Having the president there, it’s the best country in the world and that’s pretty cool.”
The clash between Taylor and Trump during the presidential campaign saw Swift backing Harris, leading Trump to express his disdain for the singer on his social media platform Truth. However, Trump also mentioned that he liked Kelce, despite suspecting him to be a liberal who probably can’t stand him.
