Prime Video has released a trailer for its upcoming gripping drama series set to debut next month. Fear, a three-part psychological drama, depicts every parent’s worst nightmare as a couple face accusations of child abuse from a menacing neighbour.
The brief teaser introduces us to Martyn (portrayed by Martin Compston) and his wife Rebecca (Anjli Mohindra), who relocate with their two children from London to Glasgow.
Their dream of a peaceful new life quickly turns into a nightmare when their unsettling, basement-dwelling neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) starts making disturbing remarks to Rebecca and initiates a campaign of intimidation against her and the family.
The situation worsens when the authorities fail to intervene, leaving Martyn and Rebecca feeling helpless. A tense game of cat and mouse ensues between Solly and the couple, who find themselves under his constant surveillance.

Martyn’s father (James Cosmo) attempts to step in, but Solly seems to always be one step ahead. Viewers will have to watch to discover who is telling the truth in this conflict between Solly and the family.
Filmed in Glasgow, Fear also features Game of Thrones’ Daniel Portman, Anneika Rose from Crossfire, Maureen Beattie of Deadwater Fell fame, and Bhav Joshi from The Diplomat, reports the Mirror.

Hailing from the creators behind The Rig and The Sixth Commandment, the series is penned by Mick Ford, known for his work on The Stranger and After the Flood. UK and Ireland viewers will have the opportunity to devour the entire season in one sitting when it becomes available on March 4.
Last year, Prime Video confirmed Fear, a show that promises to deliver a thrilling emotional ride. The suspenseful drama will make its debut at the Glasgow Film Festival, with lead actor Compston eagerly taking to Instagram to share news about the upcoming thriller.
Posting a photo of his character Martyn, Compston expressed his excitement: “Chuffed to bits ‘FEAR’ is gonna have its premiere on home turf at @glasgowfilmfest later this month. Overdue a west end thriller! ” He praised the stellar ensemble cast, curated by @cazstew88, acclaiming their peak performances: “The cast is phenomenal put together by @cazstew88 everybody at top of their game.
