After a nightmare start to the season Hearts are starting to look like one of the Premiership’s form sides.

Neil Critchley has been a busy man in the January window, but it’s paying dividends – with the red hot Jambos scoring six last time out, as they demolished Dundee at Dens. In Elton Kabangu the Jambos look to have found the perfect partner for Lawrence Shankland, and both players got on the scoresheet at Dens as Hearts made it six wins in seven matches – and only a stalemate from Aberdeen blots the copybook.

St Mirren meanwhile have been blighted by inconsistency this campaign; from the highs of the win against Rangers in Paisley and a 3-1 triumph at Pittodrie still fresh in the memory, Stephen Robinson will also have been frustrated after watching his side defeated by St Johnstone last week – having also lost to an underperforming Kilmarnock early in the new year.

With Rangers already out, and both sides looking unlikely to be facing a Premiership relegation battle, both will be fancying their chances when it comes to a Scottish Cup run – and Record Sport can ensure that you don’t miss any of the drama.
