Ant and Dec are set to return to South Africa for another series of the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! spin-off, South Africa. The ITV show is making a comeback later this year, with bosses currently deciding a new line-up of celebrities who have previously braved the jungle.
I’m a Celebrity… South Africa’s debut series, back in 2023, was wildly successful, attracting over five million viewers per episode, so it’s no wonder TV bosses are keen to do it again, reports the Mirror.
The first series featured stars such as Amir Khan, Corrie’s Helen Flanagan, TV presenter Carol Vorderman, Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread and Diversity’s Jordan Banjo, with Myleene Klass emerging as the winner.

Unlike the original show, the public does not vote for contestants to face Bushtucker Trials or remain in camp; instead, the celebrities compete in challenges to stay, vying for the eventual title of Jungle Legend.
The news of the upcoming spin-off follows just months after the 2024 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! concluded, which saw McFly star Danny Jones crowned as the winner, beating Coleen Rooney, Reverend Richard Coles and Oti Mabuse to the acclaimed top spot.
Speculation is mounting over the line-up for the next series of the main show, expected to air later this year, with Olympic icon Sir Steve Redgrave reportedly hinting he may join after his stint on Dancing on Ice. Speaking to The Sun, Steve remarked: “We’ll see. My compromise was to do Dancing on Ice – at the moment. But never say never”.
He ventured that while he could “survive” the ordeal, it wouldn’t be a walk in the park for him. “I’m quite a fussy eater so I wouldn’t do well with the limited calories you get. It might be quite good for my figure from that point of view! It’s something I would consider”.
In related news, Ant and Dec are looking to bring back more nostalgia, as Cat Deeley has hinted at a revival of SM:TV Live following the duo’s decision to put Saturday Night Takeaway on hold.
