This set gets shoppers two 30ml bottles of popular scents from M&S’ Collection fragrance line, Velvet Amber and White Coconut. Overall, the set would cost you just £12, but it’s even more affordable thanks to the firm’s 25 per cent discount, reducing it to just £9.

Discount aside, the firm’s Velvet Amber Eau de Toilette has multiple reviews that say it “smells like” Thierry Mugler’s iconic Alien fragrance that is usually priced at £67 for the same-size 30ml bottle, although it is on offer at Boots for £53.60.
Since the cost of the M&S duo gift set is priced at £9, this means that each 30ml bottle is essentially worth £4.50 each. If you were to compare that budget price to the beloved designer perfume, M&S shoppers are saving themselves over £62 for a similar scent.
Velvet Amber boasts notes of neroli, white flowers and rich amber. Those who have purchased it in the past say that it “smells amazing” and that the scent “stays on for hours.”
Meanwhile, the White Coconut Eau de Toilette is more of a tropical scent, making it suitable for the upcoming warmer season. Its “captivating” scent features fresh notes of sea-salted coconut, exotic white flowers, sweet blossom, vanilla musks and sea moss.
Both of the 30ml perfume bottles have been packaged in a cute heart-shaped presentation box that gives it that romantic touch. Since they are miniatures, they are ideal for taking on holiday, or for popping your handbag for a quick freshen up on the go.
The Velvet Amber & White Coconut Fragrance Duo Gift Set only has two reviews so far, but it has been described as “selling fast” by M&S. Since both reviews are five-stars, it’s not just us that think the set is worth the money this Valentine’s Day.
