A huge cannabis farm worth £120,000 has been uncovered from a unit at a Scots industrial estate.
Police raided the premises on Mackenzie Street in Greenock after receiving reports of a possible cultivation on Tuesday, February 11. Officers attended the address and discovered 200 cannabis plants, with a street value of £120,000, within.
Inquiries to trace those responsible are ongoing. Images show dozens of the plants lined up under tarpaulin at the site.
Detectives have asked those with information about the cultivation to come forward.

Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “This is a significant recovery and is an example of our efforts to disrupt the trade in illegal drugs in Scotland. Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping Police Scotland target those responsible for the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for anyone with any information to contact us.”
