Police said they discovered the bodies after arriving to the home for a welfare check.
ELGIN, Texas — Two people were found dead at a home in Elgin on Tuesday morning, according to police.
The Elgin Police Department said officers arrived to the home in the 200 block of East 11th Street for a welfare check. Once on scene, police said two people were found dead inside the home.
The victims’ identities have not been made public as the Elgin Criminal Investigations Division continues to work the case.
Police believe the deaths are an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public at this time.
Law enforcement said more information will be shared at a later date.
