AUSTIN, Texas — I love you so much … Houston?

The popular Austin coffeeshop Jo’s Coffee is expanding outside of Austin, with a Houston Heights debut set for Valentine’s Day.

After more than 25 years in Austin, Jo’s Coffee will open the new location on Friday with free drip coffee all day. The first 30 guests will also receive a limited-edition “Turbo Lovers” poster to commemorate the special occasion.

The coffeeshop will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at 1023 Studewood St.

Jo’s Coffee’s original South Congress location in Austin features the iconic “I love you so much” mural, which was created in 2010 by local musician Amy Cook for her then-girlfriend, Liz Lambert, majority owner at Jo’s. After being vandalized in 2011, it was restored shortly after in its original green with red spray paint. The public love letter has become a popular spot for Austin visitors to take photos.

Houston Heights will be the eighth location for Jo’s. Other Austin locations include one downtown on Second Street, inside the Austin airport and in the Hancock neighborhood.
