Primark has wowed beauty enthusiasts by expanding its range of overnight lip masks that have been compared to an iconic brand loved by celebrities.
If there is one product that has taken the world by a storm, then it is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Earning a cult following for its nourishing and hydrating abilities, it is also a staple for Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney.
With the K-beauty treatment voted the most popular lip product last year, it’s no surprise to hear it is a bit pricey at £21, which leads us to look for alternatives. This is where Primark has entered the game.

The high street fashion firm’s own Overnight Lip Mask has been gaining attention on social media, with shoppers on TikTok “running” to get their hands on them. At just £3, they pose a much more affordable alternative for those who are looking to stick to a budget.
Even better, Primark took to Instagram to confirm that it has extended the range with two new flavours, strawberry and mango. That means beauty fans can now bag the popular lip mask in five flavours that also include vanilla, raspberry and watermelon.
The “intensive” lip treatment uses a hydrating flavoured seed oil to boost moisture levels, keeping your lips “hydrated” during the night. This means that you can wake up to “smooth” lips without any cracking or dryness.
Primark’s Scottish branch based on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street previously alerted shoppers to the ‘dupe’ on TikTok earlier this year, leaving one fan to exclaim: “I’m obsessed with this.”
Another user, @angel_lou88, also advised shoppers to “run” for the lip mask, writing: “Run to Primark for these overnight lip masks come in three flavours watermelon, raspberry, vanilla only £3.00 each!! Could only get me hands on the watermelon one.”
Primark’s own beauty Instagram page, which boasts 813,000 followers, recently shared the new mango and strawberry flavours in a post that read: “Our overnight lip masks are giving hydrated and moisturised.”
Available to buy in stores now, the Overnight Lip Mask was instantly a hit with devoted fans, as one exclaimed: “Need every scent!”
A second Primark shopper said: “It’s giving…I need it in every colour and scent.”
Someone pointing out their similarities to the iconic brand said: “Giving….Dupe.”
