The victim is being evaluated by the Austin-Travis County Medical Services after the fire on Tuesday morning.
AUSTIN, Texas — A victim was removed from an apartment fire on Wednesday morning in southwest Austin.
According to the Austin Fire Department (AFD), crews arrived sometime around 5:15 a.m. to a three-story building at 6401 Rialto Blvd, not far from William Cannon Drive and Southwest Parkway.
Once on scene, responders said one person was taken from the third floor, and they will be evaluated further by the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS). Their exact condition is uncertain at this time.
It’s unclear whether anyone else was inside the apartment, and no additional information has been made available.
