An FDNY EMT was arrested and charged with murder for the fatal 2021 Queens shooting of a recent college graduate sitting in a Range Rover, police said.
Jordan Hannah, 26, was arrested Thursday and charged with murder, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with evidence in the April 18, 2021, slaying of 22-year-old Kyle Griffin.
Griffin was sitting in the driver’s seat of the white SUV parked near 41st St. and 30th Ave. in Astoria when two men walked up about 10:05 p.m., police said.
He was shot twice in the back, and after the shooting, the men were seen rifling through the car, police sources said at the time.
Medics rushed Griffin to Mount Sinai Queens, but he could not be saved.
After the murder, Hannah joined the FDNY, attending the FDNY EMS Training Academy in Jan. 2022, according to the FDNY.
