Doctor Who legend David Tennant has been spotted pulling pints behind a Glasgow city centre bar this week.

The 53-year-old Scots actor left fans in a frenzy after he ironically poured himself a pint of Tennent’s behind the bar at Slouch on Bath Street.

Staff members at Slouch took to Instagram to share his visit, appearing equally excited as fans as they captioned their post: “One of Scotland’s finest pouring one of Scotland’s finest! What a treat?”

Fans rushed to the comments to gush over David as one wrote: “Nobody bloody move. HIS HAIR.” A second wrote: “The man, the myth, the legend.”

Somebody else echoed: “Ten out of Ten” while another exclaimed: “This would make a cool t-shirt: David Tennant pulled my pint at Slouch Glasgow!”

David, who was born in Bathgate and raised in Paisley, is best known for his BBC Doctor Who role from 2005 until 2010, and appeared to be in good spirits during his trip to the city.

The dad-of-five, who now lives in London with his wife Georgia, has many other notable TV credits including roles in Broadchurch, Inside Man and Des.
