A man has been rushed to hospital after an alleged slashing incident in the south of Glasgow.
Emergency services responded to reports of a “seriously injured” man on Cathcart Road at around 12.10pm on Wednesday, February 12.
Medics quickly arrived at the scene, and a 38-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His current condition remains unknown, reports GlasgowLive.
It is believed the man was attacked with a bladed weapon. Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, we received a report of a man seriously injured on Cathcart Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 38-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
