Firefighters have extinguished a blaze that broke out at a nature reserve near Aberdeen. Two fire appliances were deployed to the scene at 7.34pm on Wednesday, and the fire was brought under control by 8.42pm.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed: “Both appliances have now left the area.”
