On Valentine’s Day, it’s time to go back to the pods as hit dating series “Love Is Blind” returns with a new season on Friday, February 14.

While some couples are eagerly growing their connections this season, the official season 8 trailer teases that others will face “uncertainty” about their romances.

What’s the location for season 8?

“Love Is Blind” season 8 will follow a 32 singles from Minneapolis, Minnesota as they “cut through the static of modern dating.” The contestants will share their thoughts on the local dating scene in the “city of lakes” and their experiences with romance.

Who is in the ‘Love Is Blind’ cast?

The contestants for this season’s pod squad, which includes 16 men and 16 women between the ages of 26 and 43, come from a variety of backgrounds and interests.

In the “Meet the Cast” video released ahead of the premiere, Netflix introduces the Minneapolis-based group, which includes digital marketer Monica,

The possibilities are freaking me out in a good way,” Monica says in the video. “But I’m still very nervous.”

Who will be hosting “Love Is Blind?”

Nick and Vanessa Lachey are back as the hosts of the dating series. The couple has hosted the show since its debut in 2020.

“It’s such a blessing because I get to do it with Nick,” Vanessa told E! News of the job. “And it really has become an important part of our marriage. It’s like the living marriage therapy.”

When does “Love Is Blind” season 8 premiere?

“Love Is Blind” season 8 premieres with the first batch of episodes on Friday, February 14.

Netflix will release the season’s 12 episodes in batches over a period of four weeks, with each new batch dropping every Friday starting on Valentine’s Day. Here’s the full schedule:

  • Episodes 1-6: Feb. 14
  • Episodes 7-9: Feb. 21
  • Episodes 10-11: Feb. 28
  • Episode 12: March 7

What can fans expect this season?

The hit dating series promises some drama this season as the trailer shows contestants in some seemingly sticky situations.

“She had a boyfriend going into this,” one cast member says about an unidentified contestant.

In another scene, a contestant says, “Apparently, there was a girl all over him.” Later, we hear, “There’s this girl on TikTok. She’s crying. I need you to tell me everything.”

Though it seems the episodes will be drama filled, the teaser also promises heartwarming moments. “I think I’m probably the luckiest person on the whole planet,” says one participant.
