Fans of Black Sabbath have something truly monumental to look forward to as the band is set to perform an unforgettable farewell gig in their hometown of Birmingham.

The legendary group will take to the stage in Villa Park on Saturday, July 5 for the first time in two decades. As the original members – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Lommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward – hope to put on a show of a lifetime.

Tickets for the ‘Back to the Beginning’ show go on sale today, as the band promises an all-star lineup full of rock and metal legends.

Fans eager to get their hands on tickets can do so from both Ticketmaster and Live Nation. The ticket sale starts at 9:45am on Live Nation and 10:00am on Ticketmaster.

Ticket demand is expected to be extremely high, as thousands of fans eagerly anticipate Osbourne’s reunion with his former co stars.

The all-star event will honour the true pioneers of heavy metal, with Ozzy performing a short solo set before joining Black Sabbath for his final farewell.

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy said.

“How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

Black Sabbath has organised an epic all-day event packed with metal icons.

On the day, Back To The Beginning will feature sets from legends including than Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.

Plus, there’s a supergroup of musicians also playing, including Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Duff McKagan, Frank Bello, Fred Durst, Jonathan Davis, Scott Ian, Sleep Token’s II and more.
