Two weeks of single lane closures on the A9 north of Perth for barrier replacement work will start this Monday, February 17.
The safety barrier replacement work at Luncarty, carried out by maintenance firm BEAR Scotland, requires a lane closed in both directions.
BEAR Scotland said it has been working with all relevant stakeholders to inform them of the project and share information about the traffic management arrangements.
The company’s north west representative Ian Stewart said: “The new central reserve safety barriers will help to protect drivers and ensure the continued safe operation of the A9.
“We’ll be working hard to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible.
“Please plan your journey in advance, especially if you are travelling on the A9 north of Perth.”
BEAR Scotland also pointed out that the works are weather dependant and in the event of unforeseen weather conditions the timescale for traffic management may have to be extended until works are completed.
Live journey information is available from Traffic Scotland on www.traffic.gov.scot or X at @trafficscotland.
