Police are looking for a man who wrote racial and homophobic slurs on a series of cars in Midtown Manhattan last month.
The hater hit about five vehicles, scrawling anti-gay and anti-Asian slurs on them on Thursday, Jan. 30, around 8:19 p.m. near W. 38th St. and Broadway, police said.
Using a black marker, he wrote, “f-g,” “c—k” and “yee” on the cars before taking off on foot westbound on W. 30th St. heading toward Eighth Ave. It wasn’t clear what “yee” referred to.
The incident is being investigated as a hate crime by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force. In video surveillance from the scene, the man was last seen wearing glasses, a black hat, black jacket and black sneakers.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)
