The grand finale of The Masked Singer 2025 aired on Saturday night (15th February), but a key figure was noticeably absent.
Comedian and judge Mo Gilligan, who had appeared in all other episodes this season, was missing from both last week’s and tonight’s episode.
In his place, McFly singer Danny Jones joined the panel alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Maya Jama, while Joel Dommett resumed his role as host.
Viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) during the episode to question Mo’s absence.
“Where is Mo on masked singer he’s not even been mentioned????” one viewer queried. Another asked: “Where did Mo go from the Masked Singer??”
“Not complaining because I love Danny but where is Mo? … #maskedsingeruk,” another posted.
“Although thats weird, mo gililgan, where is he. done all the series and missed the final 2 episodes #MaskedSingerUK,” read another comment.
As the episode aired from 7pm on Saturday, comments continued to pour in.
Just like last week, host Joel didn’t explain why Mo was absent, having previously been replaced by actor Richard E Grant.
However, fans needn’t worry as Mo’s absence is due to scheduling conflicts rather than illness or any bad news, reports the Express.
The comedian has been in the US for the past few weeks for his The Moment World Tour.
He recently posted a video from a hotel room in New Orleans on Instagram and shared a promo for his upcoming show in Philadelphia on 6th March this Friday.
The Masked Singer final airs tonight, Saturday, 15th February on ITV1 and ITVX.
