In a devastating turn just hours before the finale of Love Island, couple Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore were dramatically ousted from the villa. As the latest All Stars series wraps up tonight, only five couples remain in contention for the crown.

In a surprise move yesterday evening, Ronnie and Harriett’s island journey ended abruptly, leaving the final five duos to compete for the top spot: Grace Jackson with Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu partnered with Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen alongside Casey O’Gorman, Catherine Agbaje with Omar Nyame, and Elma Pazar teamed up with Sammy Root.

Betting odds now favour Grace and Luca as the front-runners, standing at 4/6 odds for the win, closely followed by Ekin-Su and Curtis, and Gabby and Casey with odds of 2/1 and 3/1, respectively. Further back, Catherine and Omar sit at long odds of 16/1, while Elma and Sammy trail as the underdogs at 25/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes commented on the tense atmosphere, stating: “It’s been non-stop drama in the villa this series, and with three couples well in with a chance of going all the way tonight, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more twists and turns before close of play.”

The drama escalated last night when former Islanders made their return to deliver their judgement, leading to Harriett and Ronnie’s unexpected exit.

When asked about her reaction to the breakup, Harriett spoke candidly about the experience: “The easiest thing to say is that we did it [had a relationship] before. I was just a bit hurt because my friends were sat there and the people who helped me through my journey and tried to make me trust Ronnie again, threw it back in my face and said it wasn’t going to work.”

Ronnie chimed in on the commentary around their split, expressing frustration at the skeptics: “The fake comments are crazy – did you see how much I was grafting? It’s mad. Even until last week I was still doing it, every day. We fully split up. Everyone’s going to have an opinion but the real opinion is me and H. That’s all I care about.”

In another incident stirring conversation, villa participant Casey required medical attention after a brief unconscious spell resulted in him hitting his head. Reports suggest he “bashed his head” after fainting and needed medics to check up on him.

A source disclosed: “All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him. Everything is manic at the moment getting the content needed working up to Monday’s final so losing such a key cast member as Casey wasn’t ideal.”

Scott Thomas made the decision not to rejoin the other Islanders at the villa for the series finale. Despite his fellow participants returning for their final moments on the show, Scott was notably absent.

A source revealed, “Scott didn’t want to go back in after quitting, so he told ITV no to flying back out. He achieved everything he wanted to on the show and didn’t see any point in going back. He just wants to focus on his business now.”
