Two people were injured following a fire at a depot in Mauchline.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Milligan’s Coach Travel on Sorn Road, across from Mauchline Primary School, shortly after 8.20am.
Three fire crews were dispatched to tackle the building fire which disrupted parents on the school run.
Milligan’s posted on Facebook confirming an “emergency situation” at the depot before a later update thanking the community for their support.
Milligan’s said: “Due to an emergency situation at our depot we are currently without electricity in our office. We will let you know when we are back up and running.
“Update: Every one is safe and well and electricity and office are back up and running. Thank you all for your kind messages.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.21am on Monday, 17 February, to reports of a building fire on Sorn Road in Mauchline, Ayrshire.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances to the scene, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Two casualties were taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews then left the scene ensuring the area was safe.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service was contacted for comment.
