AUSTIN, Texas — At least seven people were injured after a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 35 in North Austin on Tuesday evening.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the crash happened at 123000 N. I-35 southbound, near Tech Ridge Boulevard, around 5:46 p.m. Multiple vehicles were involved.

Medics reported seven people injured, with one person initially pinned under their vehicle.

Two adults were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. ATCEMS said the other five people did not need to be taken to the hospital.

Drivers have been told to expect delays in the area.
