Meghan Markle caused quite the stir in the fashion world after being seen sporting a piece of jewellery from a small American brand during her recent visit to Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, attended a children’s story-time event in Vancouver on February 9, where she wore Valencia Key’s ‘Joy’ bracelet, priced at £99 ($125).
This led to an astonishing 11,000 percent increase in sales, with the item selling out in just four hours, the Express reports.

GB News reported that following Meghan’s appearance, the website traffic for the brand soared by 93 percent in a single day, and their Instagram handle @liavalenciakey gained 1,000 new followers within a week.
The founder of Valencia Key, Lia Valencia Key, was overwhelmed when she found out about the royal endorsement as her phone buzzed non-stop on Super Bowl Sunday.
In an interview with Forbes, she described her reaction as “shaking and screaming” saying, “I could not believe it.” Earlier that day, she had been feeling disheartened about her business, confessing, “My light was flickering.”
She reflected on the challenges of entrepreneurship, stating: “You have purpose and you want to share this message and you want to get it in hearts to inspire, but then the world, the numbers and things may not show I.T..”
This news comes shortly after Meghan announced her plans to launch her own lifestyle brand ‘As Ever’ this Spring. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the mother-of-two teased her followers by saying the “cat was out of the bag” as she unveiled her big “secret”.
Revealing the name ‘As Ever’, Meghan Markle shared she “secured” it in 2022, stating: “This the moment [for the announcement]. It’s called ‘As Ever’. ‘As Ever’ essentially means ‘as it’s always been’.”
