THE TWO VIRGINIAS – He is WVVA’s esteemed morning meteorologist–Jeffrey Hoole, but he has more than just a love for science.
The graduate of Virginia Tech also has a love for anime and video games.
He recently returned from Katsucon 2025 and shared with our ‘WVVA Today’ crew and you at home some insight into the convention which focus on anime.
In addition to take on the likeness of Dr. Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Jeffrey debuted a new costume to his repertoire — Emio: The Smiling Man from the Famicom Detective Club series.
