Nicolas Cage’s ex has filed a lawsuit against the actor over an alleged attack by their adult son Weston Cage last year.

Christina Fulton is suing the “National Treasure” star, 61, for negligent supervision and negligent undertaking and their 34-year-old son for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress, according to the lawsuit viewed by People. She’s suing both father and son for negligence as well.

The former model claims Cage ignored Weston’s “long history of mental and psychological disorder,” thereby enabling the younger Cage’s assault on Fulton in July.

The musician was arrested at the time for assault with a deadly weapon, after turning himself in to police. He was subsequently released on a $150,000 bond.

Fulton, 57, in her lawsuit claims that Cage “has been aware” Weston had a history of “committing violent assault and battery and harming numerous individuals.”

The former model says Cage “nevertheless failed to take action to prevent Weston from committing acts of violence and harming others.”

In a statement shared with the Daily News, Cage’s lawyer dismissed Fulton’s suit as “absurd and frivolous.

“Weston Coppola is a 34-year-old man. Mr. Cage does not control Weston’s behavior in any manner and is not responsible for Weston’s alleged assault of his mother,” read the statement.

Fulton said the “Longlegs” actor has helped facilitate Weston’s “reckless” lifestyle, including repeatedly bailing their son out of jail, drinking with him “despite knowing his substance abuse history” and footing the bill of their son’s condo beside Cage’s own.

Following the arrest, Fulton said that she’d “received urgent messages” from Weston’s friends “regarding his deteriorating mental state, urging me to come help” and when she did, “he was already in the midst of a manic rage.

“Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries,” Fulton said last July.

She says in the filing that her son assaulted her in the elevator, lobby and parking lot of his condo, causing her “severe and life threatening injuries” that include a concussion, PTSD, a disfiguring eye injury and dental trauma that”required extensive medical care, surgeries, and treatments.”

Fulton, who appeared in “Snake Eyes” with her ex, says the alleged attack affected her “thriving” career and “derailed” her public-facing life.
