Crystal Palace are considering a summer move for Ross McCrorie.

The Eagles’ scouting team have a string of impressive reports on the Bristol City defender and have the Scotland international on their radar The former Aberdeen star has been flagged up to the Premier League side because he has some of the best stats for a right-sided defender in the English Championship. The 26-year-old’s strength and pace has seen him catch the attention of a number of clubs.

McCrorie has impressed since moving from Aberdeen back in the summer of 2023 and was also part of Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad at Euro 2024. The ex-Rangers academy graduate is under contract at Ashton Gate until the summer of 2026 although there is an option there for another year. If Bristol City was to cash-in then Aberdeen would be due a sell-on and that could be good news to Jimmy Thelin as he looks to continue his rebuild at Pittodrie.
