Grimes took to X Thursday to publicly plead with Elon Musk to stop ignoring their child’s “medical crisis.”
In a series of since-deleted posts, the Canadian musician, whose legal name is Claire Boucher, tried to get a response from Musk about a seemingly serious issue.
“Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis,” she wrote in a reply to one of Musk’s posts. “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.
“If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.”
As replies to the shocking plea grew from people wanting to know more, she tried to shut down speculation.
“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts calls or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f—ing respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we’re at.”
Musk did not reply to his former partner. He spoke at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. on Thursday.
It’s unclear which of the former couple’s three children Grimes is referring to. They share daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and sons Techno Mechanicus and X Æ A-Xii, who recently made an Oval Office appearance.
Grimes later said she was deleting the posts.
“I am deleting them now because if they’re being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids,” she replied to another user.
Earlier this month, conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair used X to announce she had secretly had one of Musk’s children but was now being ignored.
Earlier Thursday, dance music festival World Pride announced Grimes would perform at the D.C event in June, drawing some backlash because of her relationship with Musk and the Trump administration’s anti-LGBTQ policies.
