Fans of 90s boybands are set to be thrilled with the latest reunion news after Abz Love has announced he has made a comeback to 5ive, eleven years after his departure from the group.

His announcement on X sent fans wild as he shared an old post from August 2014, where he initially declared his exit, and stated: “As of today I am once again a member of @itsfiveofficial Thank you to all the fans who support us, I love you all..”

He will re-join Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville and Scott Robinson to belt out the band’s hit tunes.

The group’s official account added to the excitement with a mysterious message that simply read: “Loading…” alongside Thursday’s date, the Mirror reports.

Fans didn’t hold back their enthusiasm in the comments, with one exclaiming: “It’s happening…it’s really happening! ,” and another eagerly anticipating: “Waiting for a J now and a new album”.

Whether Jason ‘J’ Brown will join the rest of the band for this reunion remains unconfirmed.

This announcement follows a recent tease on the band’s TikTok page, where they posted a video featuring lyrics from their 1999 hit “Keep On Movin'” on a large electronic billboard.

The caption hinted at something in the works with the simple phrase: “27.02.25 Loading… itsfiveofficial.com.”

Formed in 1997, the popular ’90s boyband consisted of Ritchie Neville, Abz Love, Jason ‘J’ Brown, Scott Robinson, and Sean Conlon. They quickly skyrocketed to fame and amassed over 20 million record sales before their initial breakup in September 2001.

Over the years, the group has reformed in various line-ups. In 2006, they reunited but without Sean. The full team was back together in 2012 with Sean’s return, although J stepped aside.

In 2013, a controversy brewed when Sean, Ritchie, and Scott, performing as a trio, labelled J a bully on “The Big Reunion”.

J robustly denied these allegations, explaining: “I was loud and a bit aggressive at times, and I was physically bigger than them so I can see how that could have been taken a certain way. But never in my mind was I so-called bullying people.”
