A brazen YouTuber managed to sneak into hospitality at Celtic Park free of charge – treating himself to an ice-cold pint and half-time pie.
Glaswegian vlogger Martin McGhee wangled himself the ultimate freebie as he mingled alongside VIPs to watch the Hoops hit Dundee for six at the start of February. The content creator – who only launched his channel at the turn of the year – headed to the midweek Scottish Premiership clash at Parkhead ticketless before bumping into a punter who gifted him a brief.
Martin made his way inside the stadium and up to his seat in the Jock Stein Stand upper tier before chancing his luck by attempting to bypass security in the Kerrydale Suite. After various knockbacks by stewards and the doorman, he was instructed to get a certificated lanyard in order to gain access to the premium lounge.
With a helping hand from some fans, Martin somehow managed to slip under the radar by shadowing them into the Kerrydale Suite. As he made his way to the bar, he told the camera: “I’m definitely going to get chucked out here, this is definitely dodgy.”
Holding a pint of Tennent’s, he adds: “I don’t even know what I’m doing with myself here. Apparently you don’t even get free drinks, you only get a pie at half-time. If I walk about confident enough, I don’t think anybody will ask if I’m meant to be here or not.”
Martin then ducked his way back into the main terracing with a full pint in hand. Realising what he’d just done as he climbed the stairway, he said: “I’ve just walked out of here with a pint, I don’t even know if you’re allowed out with pints. You can’t be allowed out with pints!”
After downing his beer, Martin then duped security by gaining access to the Number 7 Restaurant – where packages start at an eye-watering £300 per person. He laughed: “Well, this is a nice wee happy accident. Anyway, I don’t know how this has happened. It’s not even boldness, it’s stupidness.”

Rather than sit in the comfy leather seats which overlook some of the best views in the stadium, Martin rejoined ordinary match-going supporters in the section below before returning to the executive restaurant for a free pie. Capping off a whirlwind evening, Martin ended his video by saying: “I ate my pie, watched the game then went up the road.”
And in a classy gesture, he added: “Since Celtic unknowingly put me up for the day I have donated to the Celtic FC Foundation to say thanks!” Martin’s video – which has only been viewed 1,500 times at the time of writing – was quickly flooded by positive comments.
One wrote: “You have some brass neck fella [laughing emoji]. But you saved it in the end with donation to the foundation.” Another viewer raved: “This is probably the most polite way to sneak in somewhere. loving the videos!” A third was left in stitches, commenting: “Shouting at the tele WITS HE DOING as you where walking out the hospitality with the pint.”
This Canadian subscriber noted: “What a great fella that guy, giving you a ticket to the match. Sneaky and slippery work pal, well done! I’ve been round the country a few times and you Weegies always make me laugh! Cheers from Canada!” While a fifth added: “Brilliant craic. We need a good Glaswegian youtuber.”
